Mymedalmemories.com was founded in 2010 by Terri Buzzella, a veteran distance runner from Central Florida. Buzzella has competed in multiple races of all distances from the 5K to Marathon, and completed a Half-Iron distance triathlon in Miami in 2009. The idea for the plaques came during a group run and she began making her first prototypes in late 2009.
Each plaque is CNC machine engraved with the help of her family’s other business, Diversified Window Solutions - then finished, assembled and stained by Terri.
